ABOUT THE COMPANY

Vibisol International AB was founded in 2002 with the aim of developing, manfacturing and distributing ground vibration isolation systems. The VIBISOL system is based on a number of Swedish and International patentens.

Areas of applications are:
* mitigation of ground vibrations from traffic
* protection of buildings from shock and impact due to construction activities
* protection of soft soils from earthquake effects (liquefaction of sands)
* civil and military protection systems

The gas cushion system was initially developed during the early eighties at the Royal Institute of Stockholm (KTH). Several successful installations were carried out in Sweden, Germany and Belgium. However, the importance of environmental problems and the responsibility of implementing mitigation measures has only recently been appreciated.
