Vibisol System Wins Environmental Prize
Vibisols won second prize in [BB]Miljöforum[BB] - the Swedish competion for best environmental invention during 2004!

The Vibisol vibration isolation system was awarded second prize in the Swedish competition of the most valuable environmental invention during 2004. More than 50 inventions were submitted and three winners were chosen among 15 finalists.
Citation by the Jurors:

[c]"Around the world, vibrations and noise from otherwise resource-efficient railways are a problem for existing and new railway lines. Vibisols technique is based on gas-filled cushions which are installed permanently in trenches in the ground. These avoid in an efficient way the propagation of vibrations and noise in areas, which otherwise cause significant environmental and health problems in industrialized countries. Vibisols technique have been judged to offer economic and environmental benefits and the Jurors of MiljöInnovation 2004 have therefore second prize."[c]
